Here at Specialized Construction Group, we understand that quality, reputation, and trust are everything in business. The company was formed around the needs of retail, restaurant, and medical office owners to accelerate and optimize the process of opening a new location or refreshing an existing site, while reducing the stress on the owner so they may concentrate on what they do best…. run their business!
We will manage, coordinate, and execute the entire process- whether this consists of a basic tenant improvement, remodel, ground-up build, or a multiple-location program rollout.

Our Clients
Our story
Specialized Construction Group (SCG) was founded in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2012 by Kyle Gorman and Brandon Lehman. The co-founders started off as a traditional general contractor, completing residential and small commercial projects. Within a few years, SCG was only completing commercial construction projects and several in the retail sector. SCG then brought design in house and began design-building retail and restaurant construction projects in Arizona, California, Texas, and Utah. SCG had found their niche and became a top 25 Tenant Improvement contractor in the Small Business Journal.
However, the two co-founders set out to improve on traditional industry methods, and began offering consulting services, management, and development for fee. They realized that this hourly service model better aligned with their clients’ needs and put SCG in the position of an advisor, rather than a vendor.
With the goal of creating a seamless, efficient process, SCG grew and became a success, completing projects for some of the nation’s largest retailers and restauranteurs as well as local mom & pop shops. In 2022 SCG was named No. 307 in the fastest growing companies issue of Inc. Magazine.
